**Tell Us about yourself** I\'m a highly motivated data management professional with 6 years of experience in portfolio monitoring, evaluation, and data management, in the international development sector. In my most recent role at the Green Climate Fund, I streamlined the implementation of an open data library,to address repetitive data requests and improve information accessibility for stakeholders, effectivley streamlining data dissemination. I serve as focal point for a long-term agreement (LTA) with an external data consultant firm and a budget of \$500000, overseeing all aspects of work order creation, budget allocation, data remediation, and invoice processing in Oracle. I have supported system access issues during Readiness grant handover process, ensuring seamless transition for new focal points and efficient management of 800 grants portfolio. I led the cleaning and rectification of logframe ex-ante and ex-post results for 182 projects, resulting in a high-quality dataset for dashboard creation. I\'m deeply passionate about the IMF\'s mission to foster global monetary cooperation. My experience in analysing complex data, managing subscriptions, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders aligns perfectly with the requirements of this role.\" I am confident that my skills and experience would be a valuable asset to the IMF, and I am eager to contribute to the organization\'s important work. 2. **\"The job description highlights the importance of understanding the data and information needs of various client groups. Can you describe a time when you had to assess the data needs of a diverse group of stakeholders and how you went about meeting those needs?\"** **Competency: Analytical Skill** Use Story 1: 3. **\"Negotiating favourable contracts with data providers is a key responsibility in this role. Can you share an example of a successful negotiation you led, outlining the strategies you employed and the outcome you achieved?\"** **Competency: Negotiation Skill** Use story 8: 4. **\"The IMF relies on a wide range of electronic information resources. Can you discuss your experience with different data platforms and tools, highlighting any challenges you\'ve faced and how you overcame them?\"** **Competency: familiarity with the electronic information resources landscape and your ability to navigate associated challenges.** Use story 3: I understand that the IMF utilises a wide range of electronic information resources. At the Green Climate Fund, I played a key role in supporting teams as they transitioned to new data platforms and processes. The main system we use are the PPMS portfolio perfomance management system to support all the project implementation and monitoring activities and Fluxx that facillitates projects proposals submissions. As GCF just went throug a massive restructuring , we were rolling out the PPMS across the new regional teams. A key challenge was ensuring these teams had the necessary training and support to effectively use these new systems. Initially, there was some resistance to the new systems, as team members were accustomed to their existing workflows. For instances most manager only worked on readiness grants and not familiar with funded activities projects. We found that some of the existing training materials were outdated and did not adequately cover the new functionalities. The regional teams had diverse levels of technical expertise, requiring a tailored training approach to address their specific needs. To address this I held extensive consultations with regional teams to understand the existing knowledge, concerns and areas they needed support. I designed a comprehensive training curiculum on how to use the PPMS system to review disbursment requests, Progress Reports, Projects Stories and Financial reports. This involved understanding the workflows and techincal usage. This content was engaging and easy to understand and used a blended approach of pre-recorded videos and live webinars. I collaboration with multiple portfolio managers ensuring the training program addressed the specific needs of the users. The training program significantly improved the regional teams\' understanding and confidence in using the portfolio perfomance management system. It greatly helped to streamline workflow and increased efficiency in managing projects. The regional teams are now able to effectively the system efficiently. 5. **\"Maintaining data accuracy is crucial for the IMF\'s work. Can you describe a time when you had to ensure the quality and consistency of data, outlining the methods you used and the results you achieved?\"** **Competency: Data quality and attention to detail Skill** Use story 6: "In my previous role, I was responsible for ensuring data quality and accuracy for a portfolio of 182 projects focused on climate change adaptation and mitigation. This involved a deep understanding of the project logframes, the GCF's Adaptation and Mitigation Performance Management Framework (PMF) indicators, and the data reported in the annual performance reports. I led the effort to clean and rectify both ex-ante and ex-post results, which essentially meant ensuring the planned targets and reported achievements were consistently recorded and aligned with the PMF framework. The data was sourced from a variety of places, including historical spreadsheets, the GCF's Project Performance Management System (PPMS), and individual project documents. One of the biggest challenges was dealing with inconsistencies in how the data was reported over time and across different sources. For example, some indicators were reported cumulatively, while others were reported as current values. There were also cases of missing data, incorrect data entries, and mismatched units of measurement. To overcome these challenges, my team and I developed a robust review and rectification process. We meticulously compared every single data point against the original project documents, including the Funding Proposals, the logframes within the Funding Approval Applications, and the annual performance reports. This required a strong understanding of the project's intended outcomes and how they were being measured through the PMF indicators. We also developed automated tools to help us merge the data and flag potential issues, but a large portion of the work required manual review and correction. Through this process, we uncovered and rectified a significant number of data discrepancies. For instance, in the Mitigation PMF, the indicator for 'volume of finance leveraged' had the most corrections, primarily because of inaccurate historical data. Similarly, the 'direct beneficiaries' indicator within the Adaptation PMF required substantial adjustments due to inconsistencies in how it was reported. In addition to correcting the data, we also flagged several inconsistencies that required further investigation by the Green Climate Fund's Division of Portfolio Management. Ultimately, our efforts resulted in a clean, reliable, and consistent dataset for all 182 projects. This high-quality dataset was essential for providing a clear picture of the projects' progress, supporting informed decision-making by the GCF and its stakeholders, and ensuring accountability for the projects' impacts. This experience solidified my understanding of the importance of rigorous data management and quality assurance in achieving project success and maximizing the impact of climate financing." 6. **\"This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills. Can you provide an example of a successful collaboration experience, highlighting your role in the team and the outcome of the project?\"** **Competency: Collaboration and Teamwork Skill** Use story 6, 3, 1:
