Contextualized to Academic Track Practical Research 2 Quantitative Research Paper You will write the final manuscript of your quantitative research paper after the completion of Chapters 1 to 5 (Introduction with Conceptual Framework; Review of Related Literature; Methodology; Discussion of Results and Analysis; Summary, Conclusions, and Recommendations) and the final research defense. This final manuscript is an integration of the contents of Chapters 1 to 5 and it addresses the feedback from the final research defense. Task Goal At the end of the task, you should have demonstrated knowledge of the quantitative research process by writing a quantitative research paper with sound findings and conclusions using appropriate literature, data collection methods, and correct application of statistical procedures for data analysis. Subject Performance Standards To be able to complete this culminating task, you are expected to have met the following performance standards: Decide on suitable quantitative research in different areas of interest. Formulate clearly the statement of the research problem. Formulate clearly a conceptual framework, research hypotheses (if appropriate), and define terms used in the study. Present an objectively written review of related literature and conceptual framework. Select, cite, and synthesize judiciously related literature and use sources in accordance with ethical standards, data collection, and analysis procedures. Apply imaginative art/design principles to create artwork. Gather and analyze data with intellectual honesty, using suitable techniques. Form logical conclusions and recommendations. Write and present a clear report. Execute best design. 1 1 Contextualized to Academic Track Practical Research 2 Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Information Literacy Opportunity to Flexibility and Adaptability Practice the Following Productivity and Accountability 21st-Century Skills Relevance in Real Life This final manuscript of this quantitative research puts together the outputs across the different stages of the research process. From contextualizing the research problem, forming the conceptual framework, reviewing related literature, designing a methodology, collecting data, analyzing and reporting findings, and drawing conclusions and recommendations, the accomplishment of these tasks aims to assess the student’s knowledge of quantitative research methods. Knowledge about quantitative research, together with its complementary statistical processes and techniques, is relevant in making sense of observable and measurable phenomena that occur in everyday life. Due Date \ Task Instructions Write the final manuscript of your quantitative research with the following main components: Abstract - an abstract is a 250 to 300-word summary of the paper with a concise discussion of the following: background of the study, the research problem, main hypothesis, brief explanation of the methodology and methods, findings, and conclusions. Chapter 1 (Introduction) - this section must contain the contents of your corrected Chapter 1. This chapter must contain the background of the study, a discussion of the research problem and research questions, objectives of the study, hypothesis of the study, scope and limitations, the significance of the study, the conceptual framework, and definition of terms. 1 2 Contextualized to Academic Track Practical Research 2 Chapter 2 (Review of Related Literature) - this section must contain the contents of your corrected Chapter 2. This chapter must contain your review and synthesis of related literature with summary and gaps in the literature. Chapter 3 (Methodology) - this section must contain the contents of your corrected Chapter 3. This chapter must contain a discussion of your chosen quantitative research design with focus on appropriate quantitative data collection and statistical analysis procedures. It must also include a discussion of how you ensured that research ethics was observed. Chapter 4 (Discussion of Results and Analysis) - this section must contain the contents of your corrected Chapter 4. This chapter must contain a summary of the quantitative results and preliminary analyses based on the statistical tests that you have performed. Chapter 5 (Summary, Conclusions, and Recommendations) - this section must contain the contents of your corrected Chapter 5. This chapter must contain a summary of the findings, conclusions according to how the hypothesis was accepted or rejected, and recommendations for further study. Bibliography - this section must contain all bibliographic entries used in the entire paper. Cite your sources according to the prescribed format (APA/MLA/Chicago Manual of Style). To submit your final research paper, create and upload a separate document file. Submit the link of the document file to your research teacher. 1 3 Contextualized to Academic Track Practical Research 2 Rubric for Grading Suggested 1 2 3 4 Points Weights Chapter 1: Introduction 10% Research The chapter is The chapter is The chapter is The chapter Statement, missing a missing a missing a contains a clear Hypothesis, Scope discussion of more discussion of two discussion of one discussion of the and Limitations, than two components: of the following following Significance of the components: research components: components: Study research statement, research research statement, research questions, statement, statement, 5% research questions, hypothesis, scope research questions, research questions, hypothesis, scope and limitations, hypothesis, scope hypothesis, scope and limitations, significance of the and limitations, and limitations, significance of the study. significance of the significance of the study. study. study.
