What would integration mean in the context of cooperation between nation states? the process of coming together and working collaboratively to achieve common goals and address shared challenges. It involves the establishment of mechanisms, institutions, and policies that promote cooperation and coordination among participating states 7 Theories on Intergovernmentalism (European) → emphasizes the role of national governments in the decision-making integration process of European integration. It suggests that integration occurs through intergovernmental negotiations and agreements among sovereign states. → the principles involve: the preservation of national sovereignty, decision-making based on unanimous or consensus-based agreements, and the limited role of supranational institutions.
