EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING Technologies whose development, practical applications, or both are still largely unrealized, such that they are symbolically emerging into prominence from a background of non- existence or obscurity. EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES Emerging technologies include a variety of technologies such as Educational technology Information technology Nanotechnology Biotechnology Cognitive science Robotics Artificial Intelligence It is the term given to those areas of science and engineering where phenomena that take place at dimensions in the nanometer scale are utilized in the design, characterization, production and application of materials, structures, devices and systems. NANOTECHNOLOGY It is a broad area of biology, involving the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make products. Depending on the tools and applications, it often overlaps with related scientific fields.
