Three ways to give an introduction: Begin with a story; pose a question; close your eyes and imagine; build suspense; begin with a quote; begin with a striking sentence; the pause; use humor 11. Three ways to conclude a speech: End with a story; ask if anyone has questions; end with a story that finishes the intro story; end with a quote; have a striking last point; review the main points; end with an emotional message; end with humor.
