Yet very few succeed in trying. The majority of the private and semi-professional traders and investors loose. It's got to be like that. Otherwise the system would not work. When I first began stock trading more than 15 years ago I did not use to be a big winner, either. But I was quite aware that my situation would not improve without certain abilities. Parallel to my developing interest in the stocks, meanwhile out of nothing I created a profitable computer specialist publishing company, I managed to push out of the market some prestigious competitors, and I was responsible for two dozens of employees. I was successful, had a good income, I enjoyed acknowledgment and respect. I lived in my own house, with my wife and my child – always with a hell of a car in front of the door. On weekdays, I used to work much and hard, and during the weekends, I used to live with my family – everything was perfect! There was just one thing I was bothered about when I developed to become a day trader: The bad feeling not to see and not to know really what was going on. So I had to try to acquire the perfect view. I provided myself with each kind of literature on the subject: Elliot, Gann etc... Furthermore, all the classical authors and the successful books of the today's trading celebrities and trading washouts. What a good busy student I was – with my bursting wall of books. Then, I was particularly fascinated by William D. Gann. I realized immediately that for us lesser mortal investors, W. D. Gann has the same importance as Einstein has for the mathematicians. Probably as crazy as brilliant, he was. I intensely grappled with his theories and findings, because for me, those formed the key to my final financial independence. That means from the absolute low to the absolute high or vice versa, from the absolute high to the absolute low. In the conventional trading with the Elliott Waves and the Gann Angles and Gann Lines respectively, you have to take into consideration not only the absolute highs/lows (frequently over many years or decades) but also the wave structures in the different time frames, double formations, double/triple bottoms and double/triple tops. Yet the angles and waves which stem from the latest bottom or top frequently have the same importance for the price development... From out that absolute contemplation in the course Elliott, Fibonacci and Gann derive the corresponding targets and turning points in price and time, respectively. The subject is using the square of the nine and some advice on it which for us traders is certainly hard to digest and even harder to apply and convert in the everyday business. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Several advices for using the square of the nine It must be tried whether the cash or future markets work better with the square of the nine and in case of the futures, whether the constant contracts or the front month is better. In the case of foreign exchange the index, for instance the dollar index gives better results. Furthermore it has to be examined whether the square of the nine works better to the right or to the left. Occasionally that market changes, in one stage one method works better, in the other stage it is the other method. Furthermore on the compound between the markets has to be paid attention for instance between the different gains, between Dax and Dow or between several foreign exchanges and commodities. For it is possible that there is a turn in corn while in soybeans the square of the nine indicates the achievement of a price target and so on. Generally, overlapping is always important that means at least the projection of a price target from out two past turning points. Otherwise the strength of a trend can be tested making use of the price targets: If the price overtakes a price target that is proof of its strength. The whole proceeding is multiply combinable, also with Fibonacci, on the other hand an overtaken price target keeps its importance: From now on it becomes a correction target. The points of return and the stages of calm work most surely in the trend if the same value is found taking as a starting point some different bottoms and peaks, for instance overlapping. Think about the traditionally narrow markets like the E-Mini morning market in Europe. The highs and lows marked there are likely to be tested. They will be confirmed or corrected by the Americans mostly at the beginning of the main trading time. Furthermore the night session marks additional lows and highs, but what are they worth? Are they really relevant? Can they indeed be considered for the calculation of the price development due to Elliott and Gann? Anyway, an infinity of calculations have to be done. Obviously, that cannot be an adequate contribution neither for the decision finding process nor for our security in trading. Should not we consider instead the effectively relevant price moves created by the masses? At any time day and night, for any market. The majority of the investors pay attention to the emerging highs and lows. The number of the market participants at the respective moment does not matter. At the beginning let us say of an uptrend you see the strong greedy hands which buy at the lowest price and at the end of that movement you will see the weak, anxious hands which enter at the absolute high when there are no other buyers any more, but many sellers. The investors stagger in their emotions and decisions. Greed and fear alternate. Weak hands do not always remain weak. Nor are strong hands always strong. Those who used to be weak can become strong and vice versa. But mostly the investors simply swim with the market and follow the actual trend. When the majority stops following, the first trend move (impulse) is phased out. Only the very last greedy or anxious hands still want to participate and mark the closing highs and lows of the impulse yet they have no influence on the final duration of the impulse, just on the last extreme prices....which are the highs and lows achieved then. That is where the investor greed and fear get to the climax and cause the investors absolute lack of reasonableness. That is why the GUNNER24 Initial Impulse just exceptionally (about a 15%) goes over the real starting low or starting high respectively to the final low/final high of the first initial impulse. Only if the majority of the investors enter immediately at the extreme point, the GUNNER24 Initial Impulse starts with the absolute high or low. The GUNNER24 Initial Impulse can be counted therefore over 15 (close enough to 13 candles) or just 4 candles (close enough to 3 or 5 candles). If then the GUNNER24 Setup traces and forecasts the effective price action because of the emerging time lines and supports and retracements of the arc and double arcs.... why not! Frequently that arc and the upper line of the square (actual a resistance line) are penetrated shortly after the consolidation period and a 2nd high is formed, a little higher than the first high. In an 80% of those cases that does not mean the final breakout of the 1st square, but it is a fake high. The penetration often occurs between the second and the third time line. If you recognize that the arc and the upper line of the 1st square are broken rapidly you may put a short exactly onto the upper line of the 1st square. Normally that fake high comes back fast, breaks back from above through the upper limit of the square and then even breaks through the blue arc of the 1st square. You may place another short there at the blue arc. Place the stop loss for both trades on the fake high. Frequently that blue arc and the lower line of the square (supporting line) is broken shortly after the consolidation phase and a 2nd, a new lower low is formed. Here again, in an 80% of those cases it is not the final breakthrough of the 1st square, but it is a fake low. The Time for the fake low here again is usually between the 2nd and 3rd time line. If you recognize that the blue arc and the support line of the 1st square are broken you may take a long trade precisely on the support line of the 1st square. Normally, that fake low returns rapidly, cuts back through the lower limit line of the 1st square and takes again even the arc of the 1st square. You may place another buy at the blue arc. You should cover that longs not later than at the 5th time line, i.e. at the important square center, and in this environment you should look again for the short trade towards the original GUNNER24 Setup. Place the stop loss for both long trades on the fake low. Just like in any other GUNNER24 Setup the Gann Angles in the 1st square and all over the entire GUNNER24 Setup shape some important supports and resistances. The price may be adjusted at most onto the upper Gann Angle (1*2). That is where you may act again towards the original GUNNER24 Down Setup. If the price overtakes the 1*2 Gann Angle but returns for instance because of a rebound at the 1*8 Gann Angle then the GUNNER24 Setup continues being valid. 1st square: If the 1*1 or 1*2 Gann Angles are reached at the retracement you will have to try to trade the short side. If the prices fall steeper than 45° that means a very fast and deep descent, but a rapid return is possible. The stop loss order placed at the initial point of the GUNNER Down Setup should have worked! At the high use the reverse and double technique. Now we have developed the 1st square of the GUNNER24 which enclose a price dimension and a time dimension. It is formed in a closed price space which forms the initial point for the further movements of the prices you can foresee all over the coming period by the dimensions of the 1st square. The squares now are stocked and multiplied until the 25 squares of the GUNNER24 emerge which depict the maximum dimension of an entire impulse wave at a 90%. In all 25 squares you see two diagonals which divide the respective square emerging four fields (4 dynamic space zones). Thus, both important trend lines within the square are defined. They also divide the square into a long and a short area and into two acceleration fields. The 4 space zones are dynamic because they react in different ways depending on the direction where the price is penetrating from. Occasionally they accelerate the trend but they are impenetrable when the price collides with their limit lines. Then, for instance, the price may penetrate more frequently. Four dynamic space zones within the squares result in safe trading constants Since a square according to the GUNNER24 Setup at the start of an impulse is either long or short on each square half, and since the square for itself is equipped with many trend lines and the price at any moment can change its trend state from long to short or vice versa if the price hits any trend line it makes sense to unify both states on top of each other in only one square. The different signals on top of each other result in a relatively safe square constant for our trading. The trend there is accelerated because there are few things to stop it: Neither expressive long signals nor effective short signals. The gray fields are vacuum in the final analysis where a trend can accelerate very quickly once it is given a push from below or above before it is stopped or caught by the signals which are lying at the diagonals. The dynamism results from the fact that they react in a different way according to the direction where the price is penetrating from. They may accelerate the trend or they are impenetrable or the price is allowed to penetrate them several times or they gather the power in order to make a rebound more rapidly, later on. GUNNER24 Up Setup: you see the dull price action when the price is trapped within the support and resistance zones. The fastest price action is found in the acceleration zones. That does not always happen immediately. At or around the double arc the price behavior is complex: Typical price action at a double arc. Every behavior implies different trading signals!! The price is working its way along below the double arc:  GUNNER24 Up: double arc acts as resistance. Often a GUNNER24 Down Setup develops. When the price closes within the double arc  high probability that a breakout occurs soon.  GUNNER24 Down: price is retesting the breakthrough and should go further down. Frequently those short touches of the double arc are spikes which mean a price turn or trend change. Often at the following second attack to the double arc produces a lower high or a higher low. At that confirmation of the change in trend you may profit trading towards the new trend. You have to install a new opposite GUNNER24 Setup in order to measure the new trend in terms of duration and price targets with it. Thus the trend is continued. The important 1st double arc The 1st double arc that starts in the center of the 2nd square forms a special feature. That is the double arc (the main resistance/the main support) which decides whether the GUNNER24 Setup remains valid and where the price is going in a long term. For the following reason you have to watch that 1st double arc in the 2nd square: Maybe you install the GUNNER24 Initial Impulse opposite to a strong main trend. If the monthly – weekly trend goes very strongly into one direction or if the prices of the monthly/weekly time frames are corresponding in the same half part of the square (for instance both prices in the short half part of the actual square) the initial impulse of the daily GUNNER24 Up may be weak. Here the initial impulse in the daily time frame is simply a normal retracement within the overriding trends on monthly or weekly base. If that 1st double arc is not broken significantly on the final price basis you have to assume that the GUNNER24 Setup fails. That means at the corresponding extreme point of that double arc you should install an opposite GUNNER24 Setup for examining that theory. If the 1st double arc is broken in on the final price basis the 2nd double arc should be reached and depending on the further development, the 3rd, 4th or 5th double arc, as well. If a double arc is broken towards the original GUNNER24 Setup go with the trend, the next double arc will be reached. Ensure by the reverse and double technique. The meaningful color sequence of the 5 GUNNER24 Double Arcs The color sequence of the 5 double arcs in the respective GUNNER24 Setup is important because of the possible price action at the corresponding double arc. The green double arcs tend to form rather supports than resistances. As to the red double arcs you can always expect a turn in price and time and usually install a new GUNNER24 Down Setup. The green double arcs, that is the 3rd and the 5th double arc use to be those where the quotation turns in price and time and where you may expect and install a new GUNNER24 Up again. Generally the reactions opposite to the main trend should always be a possible subject for a new opposite GUNNER24 Setup. For that purpose just 3 or 5 single candles are plenty enough. Here, the important thing is certainly the extension of that impulse in terms of price, the actual position of the price in the square (long or short half part). You should observe all those things carefully and apply them. Especially when the price is in the 3rd, 5th, 8th or 11th passed square. If a double arc is broken towards the main trend on the final price basis and then breaks through the original double arc and closes under it that is to be interpreted as to be an intense break of the original GUNNER 24 Setup. The trend has changed. You should always trade with that break because the recovery of the double arc usually results in some profitable trades. That kind of the intense recapture of the original double arc often happens in the 3rd, 5th, 8th, 11th or 13th square where the prices pass through. Complete GUNNER24 Trading and Forecasting Course © www.GUNNER24.com - 55 - This example shows us the normal course of the GUNNER24 UP Setup if the trend is normal: The price breaks the 1st square, passes 1st double arc and the 2nd square and in the 3rd square at the 2nd double arc the retracement begins. The quotation stops in the 4th square and rejoins the main trend. Passes through the 4th square, reaches the 5th and retraces again. That is where the GUNNER24 often ends because a new initial impulse starts. A new GUNNER24 Setup may be installed. If there is no retracement in the 5th square you can assume that is not going to happen before the 8th passed square. For better comprehension of the market the "old" GUNNER24 Setup should be continued to be observed, as a crosswise check, as well. If you are aware that the price is moving at or within the double arc against the direction of the original setup you will obtain multiple possibilities to enter in order to join trading the opposite movement. J L At the 5th double arc, in the 8th passed square you go short if presumably a new opposite GUNNER24 is coming. Place the stop loss closely above the last high.  In this chart you see how long the temporal influence zone of the double arc may continue. Actual 6 time lines. You may put a short trade at any reversal reaction to the double EURUSD 15 arc. That price action is n not at all untypical. The important time lines with the squares are the left and the right limit and the square center. Those most important three time lines have still a stronger force of attraction on the price than the other six time lines of the square. All the same the inner time lines always may be turning points as to the price. Once some suitable time lines are discovered, then the constantly changing short time trends for instance in the 1 or 5 minute chart imply very quick money. It is simply fascinating to observe the price turning at many time lines. Many small but quick profits can be achieved with the candle reversal technique or other reversal techniques (indicator divergences, Stochastic and/or MACD crossovers).
