Why choose Fabriq vs. mlean ? Confidentiel - 2023 fabriq.tech About MLean 33 2014 ⏰ 35 350 🏗️ countries year of creation Employees sites deployed 🇪🇸 Origine : Spain Ease of use Multiple user path, confusing Straight-forward path of choices to schedule a routine instance and assigned it to different users Animation of TOP meetings with customized dashboards Limited personalisation of different views → Different dashboard views with different widgets (KPI, tickets, notepad, image, Pareto, routines scheduled, calendar, etc) Automatic update of KPIs with other tools No difference in terms of integration Audit to identify issues from the shop floor 2 1 1 3 Centralised task plan with personalized filters From the centralised task plan you can: → filter based on different criteria (categories, statuses, labels, processes, teams, etc) → create new views → view tickets or view tasks → group elements based on different criteria → sort elements based on different criteria Exchange of info and escalation between teams → Similar to social → Comments not visual, hard to engage employees → No possibility of replying a specific comment, adding an attachement or personalising the message (bold, italic, emoticon, topics, etc) media chat, easy to adopt and engage in comments Communication to different teams → No centralisation of announcements to send to different teams → Lack of announcement feature Different ways to escalate information: → comments on tickets between different employees (tag someone, reply to a comment) → escalate the ticket to different teams (ie. production to support team) → Announcement tab (ie. top management communicating on trainings and other infos) → Communicator role: someone responsible to communicate at a team he doesn't belong Effective management of A3 projects Not available info on process and possible personalisation Different standardised process to use: PDCA, QRQC, 8D, 5S, 5WHY, etc. Data analytics Global characteristics of the product Confidential - 2023 Feature spectrum Fabriq allows the management of major use cases for operational excellence in an industrial environment, such as gemba, QRQC animation and problem solving. Mlean allows skills management but is less suitable for animating QRQC, performance analysis, and communication. UX in the shopflor One of the main strengths of Fabriq lies in its visual and ergonomic interface. In contrast, the user experience of Mlean is less smooth (unclear and inefficient journey) and less well adapted for use in the workshop (no mobile application). Flexibility Ease of use Mlean offers many use cases but the solution is less flexible and less customizable according to user needs. Result: less appropriation by business teams and a tool often neglected in the field. As Fabriq is focused on industrial use cases with a UX designed for operators and production managers, it can be learned in less than an hour. According to Hutchinson and Constellium, Mlean is very complicated to use and not adaptable. Suitable for the shopfloor and performance animation Confidential - 2023 On-site and in-app training Fabriq is deployed with the help of our on-site teams with training sessions and support in the first few months. The application integrates direct support (chat) accessible directly from the application and help articles to guide users. Problems escalation Fabriq is structured to formalize performance cascading and problem escalation on the different levels of QRQC specific to the industrial environment. Visual management Fabriq offers a solution designed to manage daily performance and serve as support to QRQC with customizable dashboards tailored to the needs of each team. Mlean is much less efficient in customization and dynamic display. Action plans / Problem-solving Fabriq allows great flexibility in display, piloting, and filtering action plans. Fabriq allows the integration of customized A3 processes. Gemba, Audits and Checklists Routines on Fabriq can be performed via its iOS and Android application. They notably allow feeding indicators or directly raising an issue on a team's dashboard. In addition, there are several options for routine steps.
