CHAPTER V SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS Introductory Statement On this chapter, summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations of this study is presented. Before writing the conclusion, make sure that you have written first a summary of your findings. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS SUMMARY OF FINDINGS This describes the problem, research design, and the findings (answer to the questions raised). SUMMARY OF FINDINGS Format: a) Paragraph b) Enumeration DRAWING CONCLUSIONS DRAWING CONCLUSIONS These are brief, generalized statements in answer to the general and each of the specific problems. These contain generalized in relation to the population. These are general inferences applicable to a wider and similar population. DRAWING CONCLUSIONS conclusions are precise statement that directly answers the stated research questions It must avoid further elaboration which has already been done in the presentation of the results and discussion, and summary of findings. FORMULATING RECOMMENDATIONS FORMULATING RECOMMENDATIONS They should be based on the findings and conclusion of the study. May be specific or general or both. They may include suggestions for further studies. They should be in non-technical language. They should be feasible, workable, flexible, doable, adaptable.
