DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal ESCUELAS DE TARCISIO Module Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS (STATUTES OF THE TARCISIAN TURNO) ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA CHAPTER I OBJECTIVES AND ORGANIZATION ARTICLE 1 – The Adoracion Nocturna Filipina, an organization of Catholic laymen, dedicated to a more apostolic Christian Life thru meaningful devotion to the Eucharist as well as active involvement in the social apostolate, seeks to draw the young to our Lord through its Junior Turno whose functions is similar to those of the ANF Mother Turnos. Such Junior Turnos are called Tarcisian Turnos, Proto-Martyr of the Eucharist. ARTICLE 2 – A Tarcisian Turno is canonically established in a parish or locality. It shall be constituted, governed, and shall function in a manner similar to that of the Mother Turno of Adoracion Nocturna Filipina. In locality where there is no ANF Turno, a Tarcisian Turno maybe established provided, that it be affiliated to the nearest ANF Turno or any ANF Turno willing to accept it. ARTICLE 3 – The Tarcisian Turno is supervised by a Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board composed of the Tarcisian Turno Chaplain as Chairman and the Jefe, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Guardians of the Mother Turno, to which it is attached, as members. ARTICLE 4 – The Tarcisian Turnos, like the Mother Turnos of the ANF, are also under the Executive Board of their respective Sections and the Diocesan / Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board. CHAPTER II THE TARCISIAN TURNO ARTICLE 5 – A Tarcisian Turno is composed of ANF Youth Crusaders of the Holy Eucharist between ten (10) and thirty-nine (39) years of age called Tarcisian Adorers. To be admitted as an active Tarcisian Adorers, it is necessary that an applicant must meet the following requirements: 1. Has received first Holy Communion. 2. Has secured the written permission of parents or guardians; 3. Must fill out an application, ANF Form 22 and file it at a vigil with the Chaplain or guardians; 4. An Active Adorer of the Mother Turno to which the Tarcisian Turno is attached shall sign the application, ANF Form 22 as Sponsor; 5. Shall have knowledge of the WORK and duties of active Tarcisian Adorers; 6. Must have attended Catechesis made available to their age level; 7. Must be single. ARTICLE 7 – All Tarcisian Turnos have, as their Titular Patron, the young acolyte Martyr, St. Tarcisius. Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal Life and Death of St. Tarcisius First Martyr of the Holy Eucharist, Patron Saint of Altar Servers, First Holy Communicants, and Tarcisian Adorers Feast Day: August 15 Christians lived in peace for only a few years during the rule of the Roman Emperor Valerian (Valerio). Their peaceful life ended when Emperor Valerian ordered to persecute the Roman Empire. In 258 AD, Marciano reported to Valerian the events in Rome caused by Christianity. "Rome should not accept the teachings of Jesus," he said. This was the beginning of a persecution against Christians. Tarcisius was a twelve-year-old acolyte during one of the fierce Roman persecutions of the third century. Christian had to meet secretly in the catacombs to avoid persecution and to pray for their fellow Christians. Each day, from a secret meeting place in the catacombs where Christians gathered for Mass, a deacon would be sent to the prisons to carry the Eucharist to those Christians condemned to die. Pope Sixto II was with them who led their prayer. While the Christians who are in prison prayed every day at dawn. Together they pray and sing songs of praise to God Tarcisius, a son of wealthy Christian Senator Tarsente, who was also often on his knees listening to the beautiful melodies coming from the prison. One day, Tarcisius arrived at their home. He heard the news that his father was arrested by the Roman Soldiers. He then also learned that his mother was killed during the persecution of Emperor Decio. Tarcisius knew and believed that his father, Tarsente, would never renounce the Christian faith. And so, it happened. Pope Sixto II gathered the faithful again in the catacombs. He urged them to pray for their brothers who are in prison, who would be judged and executed the next day. Quadratus, a Roman soldier, recounts his experience when he saw the Christians prisoners. They asked him for the Pope to bring them the “Bread of Life”. Quadratus wanted to fulfill their request but he could not do it because he was appointed to a new duty. Many of them volunteered to fulfill the duty, and one of them was the young Tarcisius. Quadratus convinced the Pope that it would be good for a child to bring the Holy Eucharist to the prisoners. Tarcisius said, “I will take the Lord Jesus and put Him in my chest, close to my heart, and I will keep Him. I am ready to face death and I will not let the pagans blaspheme Him.” Fabiano and Marco were friends of Tarcisius. Tarcisiano, on his way to the prison, was stopped by these boys, of his own age, who were not Christians but knew him as a playmate and lover of games. He was asked to join their games, but this time he refused, and the boys noticed that he was carrying something. Somehow, he was also recognized as a Christian, and the small gang of boys, anxious to view the Christian “Mysteries,” became a mob and turned upon Tarcisius with fury. He went down under the blows, and it is believed that a fellow Christian drove off the mob and rescued the young acolyte. The mangled body of Tarcisius was carried back to the catacombs, but the boy died on the way from his injuries. His body was presented to Pope Sixto II. At that moment, a sweet flower fragrance wafted all around. He was buried in the cemetery of St. Callistus, and his relics are claimed by the church of San Silvestro in Capite. Officers of the Tarcisian Turno are: a Tarcisian Jefe de Turno, a Tarcisian Secretary, a Tarcisian Treasurer, a Tarcisian Auditor, a Tarcisian Master of Ceremonies, a Tarcisian Flag Bearer, the Chaplain of the Mother Turno or another priest will serve as the Spiritual Adviser of Chaplain of the local Tarcisian Turno. ARTICLE 9 – The Tarcisian Turno is under the direct care of the Guardians, model active adorers of the Mother Turno, who have been duly granted such special permission and assignment by the local Parish Priest or the Chaplain of the Mother Turno to supervise the Tarcisian Turno. A Worship Committee, an Education Committee, a Service Committee, and a Temporality Committee (W.E.S.T.) shall be established in all Tarcisian Turnos to involve the young in the parish or transparochial apostolate. The Tarcisians in the Church should have a more active role and participate as lay faithful in the common interest and projects of the community. ARTICLE 10 – The duties and responsibilities of the Guardians are as follows: a. To supervise and maintain the proper conduct of the Tarcisian Adorers during their vigil. b. To provide the members with proper religious instructions by discussions and study. c. To guide the members to outdoor activities, whether in sports, entertainment or social activities, to foster in them the spirit of camaraderie and the desire to get involved in group apostolic work. d. To develop in them the zealous desire to enter the vocation of Priesthood. e. To guide them in the proper ritual of the vigil and in everything pertaining to the worship of the Eucharistic Mystery. f. To take charge, in special manner, of the Junior Tarcisian Adorers. CHAPTER III THE TARCISIAN ADORER ARTICLE 11 – The Tarcisian Adorers shall be of two categories, namely: a. Male and Female Active Tarcisian Adorers. b. Honorary Male and Female Tarcisian Adorer. Age classification of Tarcisian shall be divided into as follows: 1. Ten (10) year of old to eighteen (18) years old as Junior Tarcisian Adorers. 2. Nineteen (19) years old to Thirty-Nine (39) years old as Senior Tarcisian Adorers. ARTICLE 12 – Active Tarcisians are those who attend the vigils in the Church and the Communion Masses of their respective Turnos, while the Honoraries are those who can not attend the vigils in the Church but hold theirs in their respective homes, provided they participate in the Eucharistic Sacrifice of the Mass and receive Holy Communion the next morning. ARTICLE 14 – The duties of an active Tarcisian Adorers are as follows: a. To attend the monthly vigils of his Turno, and to offer devoutly his adoration to our Lord during their vigil before the Blessed Sacrament. b. To attend regularly and punctually the meetings of their Turno; to hand in his offerings, and to provide himself with the required Manual of Prayers. c. To take active part during the vigil in the exercise of the adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, most especially during the: · Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, with proper disposition to receive Holy Communion in the Mass. · Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament; · Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. He should wear the official badge during the vigil. a. to give his Entrance Fee of Twenty (P20.00) pesos to the Tarcisian Treasurer for the Tarcisian Turno fund before his acceptance to the Turno. An Annual Membership dues Fifty (P50.00) pesos to be given at the first Turno Vigil of the year, broken down as follows: P20.00 for the Tarcisian Turno P10.00 for the Section P10.00 for the Diocesan / Archdiocesan (if existing) P10.00 for the National Tarcisian Council b. To advise his Tarcisian Jefe of his inability to attend a vigil, starting his reason therefore. He sends, however, his intention leaflet along with his offerings. 3. To recruit honorary members and candidates for active membership in the Tarcisian Turno. 4. To confine his membership to the Turno that accepted him/her and with which he/she should offer adoration, 5. To get involved in social apostolate, in keeping with the spirit of Vatican II; that is, to be concerned not only with his/her own salvation but also with that of others, together with their spiritual and temporal needs. ARTICLE 15 - To be admitted as an honorary member – Please refer to article 5. ARTICLE 16 – A monthly pledge by every active and honorary Tarcisian shall be given to the Treasurer of the Tarcisian Turno to form part of the General Fund of the Tarcisian Turno. ARTICLE 17 – The following shall cease to be Active Tarcisian Adorers: - Any member who shall have failed to attend three (3) consecutive vigils without giving any justifiable reason; - Any member who shall have failed to attend six (6) vigils during the year, although he may have sent his offerings and presented justified excuses. In the latter case, he shall become an honorary member. Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal - Any member, who in the judgment of the Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board, shall have committed acts unworthy of a Tarcisian. Every attempt, however, should be made to attract him/her back to the noble cause. ARTICLE 18 – All Tarcisians shall cease to be so upon reaching the age of thirty six (36). Male or Female Active Tarcisians shall be promoted to the Mother Turno, as the case maybe, without passing the period of aspirancy, provided that during the whole year previous to becoming thirty six (36) years old, they have attended at least six (6) vigils, or have attended three (3) consecutive vigils immediately prior to being accepted as adorers of the Mother Turno. CHAPTER IV THE OFFICERS OF THE TARCISIAN ADORERS ARTICLE 19 – The National Co-Director for Tarcisians, who is the incumbent Director of the Archdiocese of Manila, shall appoint, with the approval of the National Director, the following officers: 1. National Tarcisian President 2. National Tarcisian EVP 3. National Tarcisian VP – Internal Affairs 4. National Tarcisian VP – External Affairs 5. National Tarcisian Secretary 6. National Tarcisian Treasurer 7. National Tarcisian Auditor 8. National Tarcisian Master of Ceremonies 9. National Tarcisian Male Organizer 10. National Tarcisian Male Promoter 11. National Tarcisian Female Organizer 12. National Tarcisian Female Promoter The duties of the National Tarcisian Officers shall, as far as practicable, be similar to those of the National Council Officers. The National Co-Director of Tarcisians shall also confirm the appointment of the following: a. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian President b. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian Secretary c. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian Treasurer d. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian Auditor e. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian Master of Ceremonies f. Archdiocesan/Diocesan Tarcisian Flagbearer ARTICLE 20 – The Tarcisian Executive Board of a Section is composed of: 1. Director 2. President 4. Vice President 5. Secretary 6. Treasurer 7. Auditor 8. Flag Bearer 9. Master of Ceremonies 10. Organizer 11. Promoter 12. Jefe de Turno 13. Turno Secretaries 14. Turno Treasurers 15. Section Tarcisian Organizer 16. Section Tarcisian Promoter position at all levels may be created if necessary ARTICLE 21 – The Tarcisian Jefe a. The Tarcisian Jefe 1. He manages the affairs of the Tarcisian Turno according to the provisions of these statutes and the advice of the Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board. 2. He sets a good example of Christian spirituality, of devotion to duties and of apostolic zeal in the service of God and fellowmen. 3. He visits sick members. 4. He reminds the Tarcisian Secretary to notify members of the holding of their vigil. 5. He sees to it that the things needed for the vigil are ready and in order. 6. He is responsible for the good conduct of the vigil. *The Assistant Tarcisian Jefe (optional) b. The Tarcisian Secretary 1. He assists the Tarcisian Jefe during the Vigil. 2. He records the Vigil attendance of the members of the Vigil Report (Form No. 2) which should be accomplished in quadruplicate and submits the same to: i. National Secretary ii. Archdiocesan / Diocesan File iii. Section File iv. Turno File 3. Like the Tarcisian Jefe, he sets an example of Christian spirituality, devotion to duty and apostolic zeal. 4. He notifies all Tarcisians of their Vigils of adoration and receives their intention leaflets. He notifies Honorary members of the holding of those functions where their presence is allowed. c. The Tarcisian Treasurer 1. Collects the offerings, annual dues of the members, be it active and honorary to meet the Financial needs of the Tarcisian Turno. 2. Assumes the duties of the Tarcisian Secretary whenever the latter is unable to perform his duties. 3. Is the custodian of the properties of the Turno. 4. Renders a financial report to the Turno assembled in the meeting of the guard in every monthly vigil. * The Tarcisian Auditor (optional) d. The Tarcisian Master of Ceremonies 1. The chief function of the Tarcisian Master of Ceremonies is to guide and direct the Tarcisians during the Eucharistic Sacrifice of the Mass and the Vigil itself. He shall always bear in mind that in every liturgical function, the ceremony should be accomplished in an atmosphere or reverence and dignity, worthy of the divine majesty of Christ Jesus. e. The Tarcisian Flag Bearer 1. The Tarcisian Flag Bearer has a special function in the Turno. He carries the Tarcisian Flag with dignity as befits the symbol of the Tarcisian’s love for Christ in the Eucharist. He should be familiar with the rules, the various gestures and bodily positions involved in the display of the flag. (Refer to pp. 111 – 115 of the ANF Constitution and By Laws.) ARTICLE 22 – Qualification standards for Tarcisian Officership. 1. A Tarcisian must have reached age 18 years old. 2. A Tarcisian must have been active for a period of one (1) year. 3. A Tarcisian must have the working knowledge of the Constitution and By-Laws. 4. A Female Tarcisian Active Adorer is qualified to hold any office / position except for the following: a. National Tarcisian President b. Jefe de Turno c. Master of Ceremonies d. Flag Bearer 5. No Tarcisian Adorer can be appointed to the higher level without passing officership in the Turno level. CHAPTER V THE DIOCESAN / ARCHDIOCESAN TARCISIAN ADVISORY BOARD Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal ARTICLE 23 – When three (3) or more Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Boards exist in the Diocese/Archdiocese, a Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board shall be organized. ARTICLE 24 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board shall be composed of the Assistant Director, Vice-President and Tarcisian Coordinators of the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Council, the Assistant Directors, Vice- Presidents and Tarcisian Coordinators of all Sections within the Diocese/Archdiocese and representatives of all Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Boards existing in the Diocese/Archdiocese. ARTICLE 25 – The Director of the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board is the Assistant Director of the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Council of the ANF in the Diocese/Archdiocese. In case, however, there is no Assistant Director in the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Council, the Director of such Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board. ARTICLE 26 – The Executive Officers of the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board are appointed from among its lay members by its Director and shall serve in office for a term of three (3) years. ARTICLE 27 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board shall be managed by the Executive Officers composed of the following: Director President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board may, however, create other positions if the need arises. ARTICLE 28 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board deliberates, implements and executes matters of general concern to the different Tarcisian Turnos or their Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Boards. It plans and coordinates all Tarcisian Turno activities in the Diocese/Archdiocese and exercises all the other functions necessary for the proper vision of the Tarcisian Turnos under its jurisdiction, in conformity with the Constitution and By-Laws of the ANF and of these Statutes. ARTICLE 29 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board, in coordination with the Section Executive Boards, shall canonically establish Tarcisian Turnos within the Diocese/Archdiocese. Such establishment, however, shall be presided by the Section Director where the Tarcisian Turno is located. ARTICLE 30 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board may create committees in the Board to plan and supervise religious and/or social functions for the Tarcisians in the Diocese/Archdiocese. Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal ARTICLE 31 – The Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board meets once a month, the date and place of which shall be determined by the Board. CHAPTER VI CANONICAL ESTABLISHMENT, FLAG AND BADGES ARTICLE 32 – As soon as the requirements provided for in Article 5 and 8 are complied with, the Tarcisian Turno is ready for its canonical establishment in a ceremony analogous to that of the canonical establishment of a Mother Turno of the ANF. ARTICLE 33 – Every Tarcisian Turno, Section, Archdiocesan, Diocesan, and National Tarcisian Council must have its own flag and flagpole in accordance with the specifications prescribed by the National Council, to wit: Tarcisian Flag – This must be made of white cloth preferably satin and measuring four feet and two inches (4’2”) in length and two feet and eight inches (2’8”) in width. The Tarcisian Flag shall carry the emblem of the Blessed Sacrament to signify the objectives of the Organization. Tarcisian Flagpole: Length 80-3/4 inches Head 21/8 inches Cross Length 7-1/2 inches Width 5/8 inches Circumference ¾ inch ARTICLE 34 – The flag is blessed at the canonical establishment of the Tarcisian Turno and pledged to by all the Tarcisians attending the canonical establishment. Tarcisians should be taught to treat the flag with due respect at all occasions. Whenever Tarcisians hold their vigil before the Blessed Sacrament, they shall do so with flag displayed according to prescribed rules. ARTICLE 35 – In community acts, all Tarcisians, whether active of honorary, are to wear the Tarcisian Badge authorized by the National Council of the Adoracion Nocturna Filipina. These badges are the same in design as those of the senior adorers, but smaller in size. ARTICLE 36 – The imposition on the badges on each Tarcisian is done by the Chaplain of the Tarcisian Turno during the first vigil which they attend. The ceremony is similar to that of the senior adorers. (Refer to the Handbook of Ceremonials.) Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal ARTICLE 37 – All Tarcisians, whether active or honorary, are under obligation to attend with their Turno flag, badges, and lighted candles at the procession of the Blessed Sacrament and also at all other community ceremonies with the Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board may deem convenient for them to attend. Green CHAPTER VII VIGIL, MASS AND COMMUNION ARTICLE 38 – The Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board shall fix the day and the hour of the monthly regular vigil of its Tarcisian Turno, giving due consideration to the circumstances surrounding the locality, availability of the Tarcisian Adorers, etc. As much as possible, the day and hour so fixed for the regular vigil should not coincide with the vigil of the Mother Turno. In case it coincides, however, the Tarcisians should always take the first watch. ARTICLE 39 – It is preferable that regular vigils of the Tarcisians should start with the meeting, followed by the Mass and Communion and then the vigil proper, after which the Tarcisians may already go home alone or escorted by the Guardians. ARTICLE 40 – For the regular vigils, the prayers prescribed in the Tarcisian Manual of Prayers shall be used. For special vigils, however, those prescribed by the National Council shall be used. ARTICLE 41 – A Tarcisian shall not be considered present during a particular vigil unless he also participates in the Mass and Communion. A Tarcisian who, due to unavoidable circumstances, cannot attend a vigil should inform his Tarcisian Jefe, Secretary, or any other officer or member of the Parochial Tarcisian Advisory Board of the reason for his failure to attend the vigil. He, however, sends his offering and intention leaflet. ARTICLE 42 – The Tarcisian meeting should be brief and in no case should exceed one hour. Catechetical instructions and/or study sessions on the Holy Bible or the Tarcisian Statutes for the Spiritual formation of the Tarcisians may be done during the meeting. CHAPTER VIII VIGIL IN HONOR OF ST. TARCISIUS Escuelas de Tarcisio Module | Constitution and By-Laws “The Lord be Adored ---- Forever!”  DIOCESE OF ANTIPOLO ADORACION NOCTURNA FILIPINA TARCISIAN ADORERS TURNO 177 Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal ARTICLE 43 – A General Vigil of all Tarcisian Turnos in a Diocese/Archdiocese shall be made in honor of St. Tarcisius, Patron Saint of all the Tarcisian Turnos, on the eve of August 15th of every year or on Saturday closest to the Feastday or on any day and month decided, upon by the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board. ARTICLE 44 – During the vigil in honor of St. Tarcisius, the Tarcisian shall renew their pledge to our Lord and to the flag. The ceremony shall take place during the Mass after the Homily, and shall be limited to the reading aloud of the names of the members by the Tarcisian Secretary, to which they shall reply: HAIL JESUS! Forthwith, they shall proceed to the presbytery, kneel on both knees, hands in venia with heads bowed before the Blessed Sacrament, then hold the flag with two hands and kiss it. They shall then stand and return to their seats. ARTICLE 45 – When a Tarcisian Turno is unable to participate in a general or special vigil ordered by the Section, the Diocesan/Archdiocesan, or the National Council, it may conduct its own in their parish but notice should be given to the Section, Diocesan/Archdiocesan or National Council, as the case may be. CHAPTER IX SPIRITUAL AIDS ARTICLE 46 – In the event of illness of a Tarcisian adorer, whether active or honorary, the Tarcisian Jefe, together with the other Tarcisian Turno officers and the members who may obtain the permission of their parents or guardians, should pay a visit to the sick Tarcisian adorer and at the same time offer prayers for his recovery. Should the Turno deem it necessary, a vigil may be offered for his recovery. ARTICLE 47 – When a Tarcisian Adorer, whether active or honorary, passes away, the Turno should offer vigil with a Mass, to which the members of the family of the deceased Tarcisian Adorer are to be invited, for the repose of his soul. All expenses for this vigil and the Mass shall be borne by the Tarcisian Turno with the help of the Mother Turno, if necessary. At the burial, the members and officers of the Tarcisian Turno should be present to pay honor to their departed brother/sister. ARTICLE 48 – In all cases, a notice of death of a Tarcisian Adorer shall be sent to the Executive Board of the Section and the Diocesan/Archdiocesan Tarcisian Advisory Board. The latter is to inform the National Council so that through the HOSTIA SANTA, the death can be relayed to the other adorers in the Section or the Diocese/Archdiocese, particularly the Tarcisians who may offer prayers for the repose oh his/her soul. CHAPTER X EXALTED TARCISIANS ARTICLE 49 – Tarcisians who have attended Seventy Two (72) vigils of adoration shall, upon recommendation by the Guardians and approval by the Chaplain to be conferred the title of ‘EXALTED TARCISIAN’ with the corresponding badges of distinction proper to their status. An Exalted Tarcisian has the option to become an active adorer or senior honorary, as the case may be, of the Mother Turno, the provision of Article 52 notwithstanding. When death draws near me, Christ At Your side, Love peace shall be; These Lord, I seek I cannot find except in You Tarcisian Adorers Turno 177 One of the main duties of Tarcisian Adorers is vigil. This is usually done in the Adoration Chapel or inside the church. There are corresponding vigil books that are used on different occasions, such as during advent. According to the Statues of Tarcisian Turno (Constitution and By-Laws), a vigil must be started with a meeting, followed by attending the Holy Mass and receiving the communion. The Tarcisian Adorers Turno 177 held its vigil every Sunday at one o’clock in the afternoon. 1. TYPE A Girl – Square back blouse, royal blue skirt, black shoes, white plain socks, black ponytail, and garment. Boy – Long sleeve (blue or white), black pants, black shoes, black plain socks, and vestment. 2. TYPE B Girl - Square back blouse, royal blue skirt, black shoes, white plain socks, and black ponytail. Boy – Long sleeve (blue or white), black pants, black shoes, and black plain socks. During “pakikipag-usap”, a pair of Tarcisians will approach the presence of the Holy Sacrament and kneel (double genuflect) and speak with Him.
