EVERY DAY SWIMMING ATTIRES SWIMSUIT A swimsuit is an item of clothing designed to be worn by people engaging in a water-based activity or water sports, such as swimming, diving, and surfi ng, or sun orientated activities, such as sunbathing. Diff erent types may be worn by women, and children. SWIMMING TRUNKS shorts worn by men for swimming. GOGGLES A pair of high-quality swimming goggles off er a tight, waterproof seal that minimizes the intrusion of water into your eyes. SWIMMING CAP EVERY Swimming cap-A swimming cap, swim cap or bathing cap, is a tightly fi tted, skin-tight garment, commonly made from silicone, latex, worn on the head by recreational and DAY competitive swimmers. EARPLUG Ears plugs specially designed for swimming are used to prevent water intrusion in the ear canal which can often lead to infection. Swimmers Ear, also referred to as Otitis Externa, is a painful infection caused by swimming for long periods of time and can result in a hearing loss.
