Innervation of the Respiratory muscles: Intercostal neurovascular bundle supplies the intercostal muscles. Contains a vein, artery and ner ve which is found in the costal groove at inferior edge of the rib. This protects the bundle. Lies bet ween the internal IC and innermost IC. Cp Cs costar groove Phrenic ner ve innervates the diaphragm. It passes through the mediastinum, around the heart to the diaphragm.
