Decoupage - the art of decorating surfaces by applying cutouts (as of paper) and then coating with usually several layers of finish (such as lacquer or varnish). Types of Techniques in Contemporary Arts Frottage- the technique of creating a design by rubbing (as with a pencil) over an object placed underneath the paper. Montage - the production of a rapid succession of images in a motion picture to illustrate an association of ideas. Trapunto - a decorative quilted design in high relief worked through at least two (2) layers of cloth by outlining the design in running stitch and padding it from the underside. Types of Techniques in Contemporary Arts a. Digital Applications - Any application software that can be used by a computer, mobile device, or tablet to make and/or display a work of art. There will be six groups. 2. You must remake David Guerrero’s Tourism Logo. 3. It must include what you think a better phrase, symbol, and design for Philippine tourism is. 4. Students can use Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Ibis Paint, or other softwares to create the logo. 5. The completed work must be submitted in a Gdrive file (to be sent later) in either a JPEG or PNG format. 6. The logo will be presented in the next meeting explaining design decisions of the logo. Mechanics: Pass a 1/4 sheet of paper with your group number and member names. You may use the remaining time to discuss and plan ahead with your group mates. Thank You!
