To provide an overview of the roles of various members of comprehensive geriatric health care team. To provide a social context of the US healthcare system, and an overview of the various resources available to the geriatric health care team, the older adult patient and his or her caretakers. 27 March 2024 Volker Intro to Geriatrics 34 Our patients will all die. We will all die. Death is not our enemy, and a death is not a failure. Dying too soon, dying without dignity is our enemy. Death out of our own control, death in suffering is a failure.
