Home styled foods are meals that are to be enjoyed traditionally and give a setting of being served in the comfort of your home. When did the trend start? Home style cooking trends popularised in the early 2020 when the world pandemic hit. Home style cooking was a common routine years ago and became most prominent during the years of 2020 and 2021. These obstacles have influenced a majority of people’s everyday diet in response to the lockdown that prevented accessibility to restaurants and large gatherings for meals. Examples of Home style foods Health Aspects Control over ingredients - So you know what’s going into your food, so that you can avoid additives, excessive salt, and unhealthy fats, or anymore other ingredients Portion control - Normally home-style meals have a good portion of food in the plate to maintain good diet. Smaller Plate might make the food looks bigger so that you know that the food you put is enough. But if you used a bigger plate the food will look smaller and you might think that you put less food but actually the plate is the problem. This influences the social media, and encourages people to cook in their homes.
