Amy’s roles are not only monitoring the whole manufacturing process but also ensuring that all products accommodate the clients’ requirements. After two months working there, her company had a big contract with a long-term strategic client to help the company’s client expand its position and brand name in a new market in Japan. The client selected Amy’s company to design and test the new device because of Company M’s reputation and efficient fast turnaround time. Therefore, Amy’s manager let her take the role of checking the new device’s quality after observing her excellent performance in the last two month. Specifically, Amy has to test the device, and ensure it can adapt both technical and environmental functions (under high humidity condition). After testing, Amy realized that the new products could not partially meet the quality standards. However, her first line manager Bernard and middle manager Jim told her to ignore that to make sure the company can gain huge profits from this mass production.
