(Page \#3) לא: קידושין ר' יוחנן - blessed is the man who never met his parents יבמות (Not in sheet) - If father tells you to do something against the Torah, don't listen to him since both of us are obligated in serving H' so just like you're obligated to serve him, you're also obligated to listen to H' רמב\"ן (Page 9)- if one\'s father say to violate a תורה law,(or even דין דרבנן), don\'t listen as everyone is obligated to listen to Hashem Kesef Mishnah- since all דרבנן you must keep, as per the torah. Rabanan is just like the torah (because of the לא סתור - Do not contradict those who know better יד של שלמה - If one's father says to not say Kaddish for the mother, you cannot listen to the father since the מנהג - When it comes to going to yeshiva, Talmud Torah overrides - If someone wants to go to yeshiva , parents say high school. He can go to yeshiva even though his parents do not want him to. If possible, he should try to have chashuv rebbeim to convince his parents to let him go to the yeshiva. Rabbi Bronspiegel invited parents to his house to convince them to let their kid go to yeshiva(Rosh Yeshiva at either Netiv Aryeh) Ramah (Pages 18-21) (Maharik) If parents tell child they don't want him to marry this girl but parents don't let 1. 2. 3.
