The idea of group study of students requires a good basic knowledge of the subject which isn't possible without any expert advice or the teachers. Lecture based instruction is a necessary component for understanding the basics of any new subject. Group discussions without any basic understanding can lead to much more time consumption and not clearing the basic leads to disinterests of students about the topic or the subject. Lecture based instructions provide motivation to students about searching more advanced field of study in that subject. For instance, a student studying under lecture based instructions will have more knowledge about the subject during any group assignment and will have no difficulties and will finish in less time period, a student with no lecture based instructions will suffer from less knowledge about the subjects and take up more time. It is important for students to gain experience from their peers about the courses. The different perspectives also increases the interests of students in the course and also sometimes learning in an playful environment can create a better understanding of the topic but it is not necessary for all students to have common goals in life, some may expect different goals from the topics learnt and some might have some different.
