# Academy Vincent First Semester Final Exam Study Guide ## What should I study? * Reading notes * Textbook * Homework * Presentations and class/video notes Many questions will be familiar to you as they come from previous tests. ## How should I study? * Look over your notes, but with a focus on main ideas, homework/reading questions, and key terms. * Concentrate your efforts on more recent material, as that will comprise a large portion of the test. * Go back through all of your study materials and find everything related to the key terms. * Make flash cards or an online quiz- try to write in your own words- avoid memorization of terms that mean nothing to you. * Ask 3 questions: * What does the term mean? * When was this/how does this fit in the time period (don't need exact dates)? * Why was this important? * Study with a friend or family member, who can quiz you on the terms- but don't rely on someone else's study guide! * Try mnemonic devices (word/memory tricks), or even songs, if it helps you remember certain things. * We will also review in class. ## How much time should I study?
