These type-specific data are only valid in connection with the information contained in the general section (TD 61) since this section contains important information on such subjects as potential connection, leakage inductance, current division, and so on. Dimensional drawings and connection diagrams are subject to change without prior notice. Drawings submitted during bidding and ordering are always binding. Since the on-load tap-changer is delivered to the specifications of the transformer manufacturer, the transformer manufacturer is responsible for selecting the correct properties of the on-load tap-changer so that the requirements of the transformer are met. 115/02/01/0 TD 115/03 3 1 General 1 General 1.1 Summary of the technical data On-load tap-changer R III 1200 Y R I 1201 R I 2002 R I 24023) R I 3003 Number of poles and application 3 (neutral point) 1 1 1 1 Max. rated through- 1200 1200 2000 2400 3000 current Ium (in A) Rated short-time withstand 15 15 24 24 30 current (in kA) Rated short-circuit duration 3 3 3 3 3 (in s) Rated peak withstand current 37.5 37.5 60 60 75 (in kA) Max. rated step voltage Uim 4000 4000 4000 4000 3000 (in V)1) Step capacity (PStN) 3000 30002) 44002) 60003) 6000 (in kVA) Rated frequency (in Hz) 50 to 60 Operating positions Without change-over selector: max. of 18 With change-over selector: max. of 35 Rated insulation level Highest voltage for 72.5 123 170 2459) 300 3627) equipment Um (in kV)5) Highest operating voltage Ub 55 79 145 170 245 3008) (phase-phase) on diverter switch (in kV) Rated lightning impulse with- 350 550 750 950 1050 1175 stand voltage (in kV, 1.2 I 50) Rated switching impulse 850 950 withstand voltage (in kV) AC withstand voltage 140 230 325 395 460 510 (in kV, 50 Hz, 1 min.) Since actual contact life in individual cases depends on many influencing factors while in service, only estimations can be given (not applicable to constant current service). The inspection regulations must be observed. When selecting the on-load tap-changer, a check must be made to determine whether the highest stress on the tap selector does not exceed the related rated withstand voltages. Without change-over selector With reversing switch With coarse tap selector in (+) - position With coarse tap selector in (-) - position CAUTION Adhere to the maximum rated 8997560M lightning impulse withstand voltage stress on a0 in mid-position. a0 = Between preselected and selected tapping on the diverter switch a1 = Between tap selector contacts of the winding of one tap position (connected or not) a = Between beginning and end of a tapped winding and, with coarse tap winding, between beginning and end of a coarse tap winding. Note for coarse tapping arrangement in (-) -position of the change-over selector: When stressed with impulse voltage, the permissible withstand voltage „a“ must be adhered to between the end of a coarse tap winding connected with the K tap selector contact and the tap selector contact at the end of the tapped winding of the same phase. b = Between the tap selector contacts of different phases and between change-over selector contacts of different phases, which are connected with the beginning/end of a tapped winding or with a tap selector contact. f = Between diverter switch terminal and ground Additional for coarse tapping arrangement in (+) - position of the change-over selector: c1 = From one (-) -change-over selector contact to terminal of the same phase. c2 = Between (-) -change-over selector contacts of different phases Fig. 10 Rated withstand voltages 18 TD 115/03 115/02/01/0 2 Technical Data Insulation Selector size C Selector size D 1) Selector size E distances kV 1.2/50 µs kV, 50 Hz, 1 min kV 1.2/50 µs kV, 50 Hz, 1 min kV 1.2/50 µs kV, 50 Hz, 1 min Transition resistor max. 150 2) 22 max. 150 2) 22 max. 150 2) 22 R2 ≥ 2.33 Ω a0 Transition resistor max. 150 3) 27 max. 150 3) 27 max. 150 3) 27 R2 < 2.33 Ω a1 150 30 150 30 150 30 a 400 85 500 4) 110 670 180 b 5) 400 100 500 4) 150 670 180 c1 550 180 590 210 820 250 c25) 550 195 590 225 820 280 Table 3 Rated withstand voltages (in kV) of the inner insulation of the selector Note: 1) Selectors in accordance with basic connection diagram 10 09 1 W, 12 11 1 W, 14 13 1 W are realized as 18 09 1 W, 18 11 1 W, 18 13 1 W.
