THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD – THE CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL GOVERNANCE CONCLUSION International organizations play an increasingly important and intrusive role in people’s lives. The United Nations system with universal state membership and mechanisms for involving non-state actors comes as close as we have when it comes to global governance. Our immediate aim is to help enhance order in international relations. THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD – THE CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL GOVERNANCE REFERENCES Thakur, R. & Weiss, T. (2014).
