# Conduct of Mega Awareness Campaign on SUBHADRA Scheme **From:** Shalini Pandit, IAS **To:** All Collectors. **Date:** 12.09.2024 **Subject:** Conduct of Mega Awareness Campaign on SUBHADRA Scheme. **Madam/Sir,** The Department of Mission Shakti is fully engaged in creating awareness on Subhadra Scheme across the state. In partial modifications to the instructions issued earlier, the following directions may please be followed:- ## 1. Subhadra Swagat Padayatra: - Date and Time- 15.09.2024 (8 AM to 9 AM) - Place- At District, Block/ICDS project, GP, Revenue Village and Urban Ward level. - Participants- SHG members, Federation leaders and Community Support Staff (CSS). - District level Programme- 300 - Block level Programme- 300 - GP level programme- 200 - Revenue Village level programme- 100 - Distance to be covered- 500 mtr to 1 KM - Responsibility- CDO-cum-EO, ZP will remain overall in charge of the Programme. DSWO of the district will be the Nodal officer. - Facilitation- At District level, DPC/DPM, Mission Shakti will organize the programme under the direct supervision of CDO -cum-EO,ZP and DSWO. Field functionaries of Block, ICDS and Mission Shakti under the direct supervision of BDO and CDPO will organize the programme. - The gathering will start at a suitable open location and proceed with banners, placards and slogans on Subhadra Scheme to a suitable designated meeting venue. - Participation of Sick, Pregnant and Old women should be avoided. - Drinking water and First Aid Service should be made available. - Prior intimation should be given to the local police stations regarding the event. ## 2. Group Discussion: After the Padayatra, once the group convenes at the meeting venue, Group Discussions should be conducted on Subhadra Scheme involving all the participants. The District, Block, GP & Revenue Village and Urban Ward level Group Discussion should be organized at designated locations. - The key points for Group Discussion will be as below:- - Regarding Eligibility Criteria - Regarding receipt of installments - Benefits of digital transactions - Any other matter related to the scheme - IEC materials on Subhadra Scheme are enclosed at Annexure-I ## 3. Signature Campaign: After the Group Discussion, all the participants will put their signatures on a flex banner/Canvas. All the above activities should be well documented through photos and videos and the same should be shared widely through social media handles. ## Budget Provision- - District level - Rs. 12,000/- - Block level- Rs. 10,000/- - GP level- Rs. 5,000/- - Rural Village and Urban ward level – Rs.1,000/- The unit cost includes banners, placards etc, documentation (Photography & Videography), refreshments for participants etc. The expenditure is to be met out of the fund available with District /ICDS Project level under 'Capacity Building' head of Mission Shakti fund. Wide coverage of the event in print, electronic and social media may be ensured to reach out to all key stakeholders. It is therefore, requested to make necessary arrangement for smooth conduct of the programme at District, Block/ICDS, GP and Village/Urban Ward level. On 17th September, 2024 the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India will be launching SUBHADRA Scheme at Bhubaneswar. Block level /Urban ward level arrangement will be made for live streaming of the above event. SHG members are to be mobilized for participation in the same event. Logistic arrangement will be made by the PR & DW Department and H & UD Department. The banner also includes a picture of a man with a microphone and the text: "ସୁଭଦ୍ରା" which translates to "Subhadra" The text below says: "ଏହି ଯୋଜନା ଅଧୀନରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତି ବର୍ଷ ୧୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ୫ ବର୍ଷରେ ପାଇବେ। ମୋଟ ୫୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା | ଘରେ ଘରେ ସୁଭଦ୍ରା" which translates to: "Under this scheme all eligible women will receive an amount of 10 thousand rupees every year, for five years. They will receive a total of 50 thousand rupees. Subhadra at every house."
