**3-Day Intensive Training: Chat and Negotiation** On this third day, our goal is for you to learn how to engage with the seller and basic negotiation. Finding a really good deal is not enough when you don't know how to close the deal. A seller thinks of 2 questions when selling their devices: - - With that in mind, we wanted the seller to actually think of the lowest price he can sell the device for, and that only happens when you are first on the listing. Being late to the listing is crucial, as we have mentioned before. We have competitors for every listing. Competitors either make us pay more or, worse, lose the listing. Remember, our goal is to get the listing at the lowest possible amount and secure the item as quickly as possible. We wanted to take down the listing from the market as soon as we engaged with the seller as prolonged exposure of the listing means more competition for us. We are not just competing with other resellers here; we are also competing with consumers who are willing to pay the full amount for the device. Now there are 3 types of listing V1/The really good deals, V2/Good deals, and V3/Okay deal. V1 ( Really Good Deals) - These kinds of deals are a top priority, you stop everything you do for this type of deals. We shouldn't miss the V1 deals or really good deals. You will know that it is a really good deal because the seller is asking for a low amount for the device so we don't need to negotiate further to close the deal. You will not leave the chat and you will apply pressure on the seller so he won't entertain other buyers and sell the item to you. We usually encounter this type of listing simply because the seller doesn't know the value of the device. Most of the time the pricing for this type of listing is way below our offer thus making it a really good one. We make good commissions for really good deals. Be aware that competition is high for this kind of deal. V2 (Good Deals) - This type of deal requires negotiation as the pricing for this type of listing is not far apart from our offer. Our goal for good deals is to negotiate the price until it becomes a V1 or a really good deal. V3 (Okay Deals) This type of deal requires more negotiation as the price is a bit far from our price (offer). V1 \> V2 \> V3 If you see a really good deal and you make an offer, know that we will not wait for 20 seconds before the seller responds. We will offer the full price right away and close the deal. Now, if you have clarifications about the deal that won't really affect the price, go and close that deal, then send your clarification to Daniel. As mentioned in previous modules, we wanted to take the listing off the market right away as we do not want any buyers to slip an offer to the seller as our deal will be at risk. **There are 2 ways of taking down the listing out of the market:** - - Note: When the listing is Marked sold the seller can no longer undo it, they'll have to create another listing unlike when it is archived the seller can change the status and it will be back to the home page. Some sellers hesitate to mark the listing sold or archive the listing as they have previous experiences wherein the buyer didn't show up to their address or their meeting place after marking the listing which hassles them because they need to do it all over again. Thus we offer assurance to the seller that we will show up when picking up the item. Now when you are scanning and see the deal, you will open the conversation by **"Hi, is this available?"** as we are building a connection and we want the seller to respond. Once the first message is sent you can now send your initial offer **"Can you do \$XXX?"** Then followed by **"Let me know." \
