Design is not only an outcome; it is a way of creating. The approach behind designing is often referred to as Design Thinking. Design thinking is gaining large popularity outside design settings because it offers a compelling roadmap and great tools to innovate and be creative during any type of project. Design Thinking is not only about product development. The approach can be applied to the design of services, experiences, environments, systems, or organizations. 5 5 What is Design Thinking? Stand Back Find a nice quiet space for yourself, somewhere you feel relaxed and can really focus. Indoors or outdoors, I find sitting in nature in a park, garden or by water is lovely. You don’t need to go anywhere though to do this, you simply can just sit quietly and go inside your mind. Once you are sitting down relaxed, just step back from your mind and the influence of your thoughts. 41 41 2.2. Observe Watch your thoughts as they come and go through your mind, do not give them any energy, do not give them any attention, just observe them with out any judgment. Steer Now gently start to steer your mind to think positively, create thoughts that will help you find a solution for the situation, thoughts that will support you and others.
