Morning SO! We have seen a number of incidents over the last year of people being let into our building without checking in properly. Since we have had so much movement, as well as new employees joining us, recently this training is being sent out to everyone. I have attached the actual policy and below is some further info from Julie Dial (Thank you Julie!). Supervisors please go over this info with your teams. This info can also be found on the N: drive. All the best! *Good Morning,* *Since we have many visitor contacts and often have to let visitors back into our space, we wanted provide a clear list of the various types of visitor badges.* *Please see the list below. I have highlighted the "Escorted Movement Visitor Pass" section, please keep in mind that visitors with these badges must **always** escorted. We must do our part to help ensure the security of the facility.* *In addition, please see the attached copy of the Visiting policy for further information.* ***706.4 Visiting -** B. 3.* *Visiting passes will permit access to facility areas as follows:* a. *Non-contact Visitor Pass* i. *Area Control 1 - Blue background with black stripes* ii. *Area Control 2 - White background with black stripes* iii. *Area Control 3 -- Red background with black stripes* b. *Contact Visitor Pass* a. *Area Control 1 - White Background with wide blue horizontal stripe and white lettering* b. *Area Control 2 - White Background with wide gray horizontal stripe and white lettering* c. *Area Control 3 - White Background with wide red horizontal stripe and white lettering* d. *Area Control 4 -White Background with grey horizontal stripe and red lettering* c. ***Escorted Movement Visitor Pass*** e. *Green w/black stripes - Facility wide. The visitor will **always** be escorted by staff.* f. *The visitor will remain in the detention visiting lobby until their staff escort is available.* d. *Unescorted Movement Visitor Pass* g. *Yellow w/black stripes - Facility wide. The visitor may travel on their own to detention facility areas that have been approved for their scope of work.* h. *The Visiting Specialist will contact Central Control and provide any relevant information to allow Central Control to facilitate the visitor\'s movement.* e. *Staff Dining Visitor Pass* i. *White background with \"Staff Dining\" - The visitor may travel on their own to Staff Dining only.* f. *Programs Volunteer ID Cards* j. *Orange ID card with the name and photo of the volunteer.* k. *The volunteer may travel on their own to areas of the detention facility that are pertinent to their program or volunteer function.* l. *These ID cards will be issued in accordance with the Educational/ Counseling Programs Procedure and maintained at the Visiting Desk when the volunteer is not in the facility.* g. *Contract Employee Visitor Pass* m. *The White Proximity Visitor Pass is used facility wide and allows unescorted access to the detention facility. This visitor pass must be logged when issued.* Please let us know if you have any questions.
