This new technology is likely to provide a data transfer rate of approximately 10,000 Mbps (megabits per second), which means that the USB 4.0 will be 16 times faster than the USB 3.0, which offers a data transfer rate of 625 Mbps. ### Audio ports and cables Audio ports allow you to connect your speakers, headphones and microphone to the computer. The cable is known as a 3.5 mm jack audio cable.
