Paternity Leave

  • Time of payment: shall be paid not later than December 24 of every year
  • Frequency of payment: may be the subject of an agreement between the employer and the recognized/collective bargaining agent of the employees
  • Computation: based on the total basic salary earned during the calendar year
  • Special provisions for:
    • Employees who are paid on piecework basis
    • Employees who are paid a fixed or guaranteed wage plus commission
    • Employees with multiple employers
