    Search Team (ST)

    • Consists of law enforcement personnel and remains on the Main frequency
    • Responsible for a room-by-room search of the structure to identify occupants and potential threats
    • Establishes a "secure corridor" with personnel at junctures for safety
    • Assigns personnel to provide overwatch for live occupants inside the structure

    Tactical Triage Task Force (TTTF)

    • Deploys prior to total neutralization of the active assailant and clearing of the structure
    • Consists of:
      • Security Contingent: at least 2 law enforcement officers
      • Medical Contingent: at least 1 paramedic and 4 firefighters
    • TTTF Team Leader (TFTL) directs movements and monitors communications with the Contact Team
    • Assistant Task Force Team Leader (ATFTL) monitors the Interior frequency
