- Hydration: Increase fluid intake significantly.
- Urine Filtration: Monitor urine output.
- Dietary Restrictions: Adhere to prescribed diet.
- Monitoring: Observe for hematuria and pyuria (blood and pus in urine).
- Medications: Administer prescribed analgesics, antispasmodics, antibiotics, and antipyretics (pain relievers, muscle relaxants, infection fighters, and fever reducers).

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI):
- Weight Monitoring: Measure weight at fixed intervals.
- Fluid Balance: Maintain recommended hydration levels.
- Input/Output Monitoring: Track fluid intake and output.
- Diuretics: Administer diuretics to reduce swelling, if applicable.

- Cowper's Glands: Secrete a fluid that neutralizes the acidic environment of the urethra.

- Hypertension Treatments: Maintain blood pressure within normal limits.
- Potential Side Effects: Orthostatic hypotension, bradycardia, syncope, nausea, vomiting, arrhythmias, loss of appetite, chest pain symptoms, dizziness, lethargy, depression, diarrhea, constipation, nausea and vomiting, breast tenderness, headache, and/or pain in the head, signs indicating possible blood clots in the leg, and/or vaginal bleeding.

Kidney Issues:
- Nephritic Colic: Sudden pain in the lower back, fever, rapid pulse, pale skin, sweating, and/or abdominal pain.
- Possible Causes: Kidney stones.
- Signs of Kidney Issues: High blood pressure, darkened urine, breathing difficulties, nosebleeds, swollen ankles, yellow/gray discoloration and/or pain in the side of the body, and/or pain in the chest area.
- Prostatic Issues: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate cancer. Symptoms could include: frequent urination, especially at night, painful urination, difficulty starting or stopping urination
- Possible Causes: Unknown, kidney failure, diabetes, uncontrolled high blood pressure

- Urinary symptoms: Anuria (no urine output), bacteriuria (bacteria in urine), dysuria (painful urination), hematuria (blood in urine), polyuria (excessive urination), oliguria (reduced urine output).
