- The person in charge of financial control in the autonomous community will be considered an agent of the authority.
- The legal advice office of the Xunta will provide legal assistance to the officials who, as a result of their involvement in financial control of subsidies, are subject to summons by a judicial authority.
- The personal controlor who performs financial control of subsidies must keep confidential and secret any information about the matters they know as a result of their work.
- Data, reports, or evidence obtained during the exercise of financial control may only be used for the assigned purposes and serve as a foundation for the demand for repayment and, in the case of infractions, to inform the competent authorities of the facts that may be constitutive of administrative, accounting, or penal offenses.
- When performing financial control, the person in charge of the exercise will notice that the facts documented in the file may constitute an administrative offense or financial liability and will report this to the Intervención General of the Community Autonomous Region in order to, if appropriate, forward the action taken to the competent authority for the initiation of appropriate proceedings.
