Post Box Rental and Management
- Articles addressed to a specific person or firm with a registered post box will be delivered/paid through the postman as long as the person/firm rents the post box.
Application and Eligibility
- Any person, firm, or body can apply to rent a post box by submitting a written application in the prescribed form to the Postmaster.
- The application must specify the nature of the business, which requires certification by two respectable gentlemen not connected to the applicant.
- Government and semi-Government institutions, as well as private parties known to the Postmaster, are exempt from this requirement.
Post Box Usage and Maintenance
- The Post Office reserves the right to withdraw a post box without notice or reason if the applicant provides incorrect information or misuses the post box.
- Renters must inform the Postmaster of any change in business address or office location within seven days.
