Right Hypochondriac Region
- Located in the upper abdomen.
- Contains the gallbladder and the right lobe of the liver.
Epigastric Region
- Positioned in the center, between the right and left hypochondriac regions.
- Houses parts of both the right and left lobes of the liver, along with a significant portion of the stomach.
Left Hypochondriac Region
- Found in the upper left part of the abdomen.
- Contains a small part of the stomach and some sections of the large intestine.
Right Lumbar Region
- Located in the mid-abdominal section beneath the right hypochondriac region.
- Contains portions of both the small and large intestines.
Umbilical Region
- Situated in the middle of the abdomen, between the two lumbar regions.
- Comprises parts of the transverse colon and sections of the small intestine.
