CC's Coffee House History and Expansion
- Founded on the principle that coffee fosters connections and strengthens communities.
- Originated in 1910 with Henry Norman "Cap" Saurage's Full Weight Grocery, where he initially served home-roasted coffee blends.
- Community Coffee® was established in 1919, evolving from simple kraft paper bags to the iconic red packaging.
- Expanded into retail coffee shops with CC's Gourmet Coffee House® in 1995, starting with a location in New Orleans.
- First drive-thru location opened in Baton Rouge in 1999, offering convenience and high-quality coffee and pastries.
- Became an independent entity in 2013.
- Expanded operations into northern Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
- Partnered with Brookshire Grocery Company, adding locations within their stores (Brookshire's and Super 1 Foods).
- Developing a new store concept for faster and more convenient service.
CC's Cares™ Initiatives
