- Planned Emergency Landing or Pilot Incapacitation: The Captain will say "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING. IFD TO THE INTERPHONE" or a high/low chime x3. The Captain will listen for a response on the interphone.
- Flight Attendants to Stations (1000ft): "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS TO YOUR STATIONS."
- Brace Signal (200ft): "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING. BRACE, BRACE, BRACE". (If PA is inoperative, seatbelt sign ON/OFF x3)
- Evacuation Signal: "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING. EVACUATE, EVACUATE, EVACUATE".
- Rapid Deplanement: "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING. DEPLANE QUICKLY".
