How Communication Climates Develop
- Confirming communication conveys value and worth.
- Disconfirming communication lacks regard, value, or worth for the other person.
Levels of Message Confirmation
- Confirming messages include recognition, acknowledgement, and endorsement.
- Disagreeing messages are messages of argumentativeness and complaining.
