HUMAN RIGHTS Introduction to Human Rights Definition :- Human rights are inalienable rights for everyone, regardless of nationality, race,or religion. Human Rights Characteristics 1-Human rights are comprehensive: Human rights to apply to all individuals without discrimination, gendermor religion 2- Inalienable : Human rights cannot be taken away or given up,except in specific cases according to law. 3- Indivisible and Interdependent All human rights are interconnected, and each right are interconnected ,and each right contributes to the fulfillment of others. 3- Equal and Non- Discriminatory Everyone is entitled to the same human rights,and discrimination is 4- Protected by law Human rights are safeguarded by laws and international agreements that ensuure their respect and enforcement. Source of Human Rights 1- Natural Law : Based on the idea that human nature and moral principles. 2- Religious Teachings: Many religions promote principles of justice ,equality and respect, which from the basis of human rights. 3- International Agreements Documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights define and protect human rights globally 4- Constitutions and Each country has laws that outline and safeguard human rights for its citizens. Types of Human Rights 1- Civil and political Rights: these include the right to life, freedom of religion, the right to vote ,and the right to afair trial, they ensure individuals freedom and protect them from government abuse. 2- Economic. Social,and Cultural rights These rights relate to standards of living, such as the right to work ,education, health,and an adequate standard of living they aim to ensure everyone has the reesources needed for adecent life. 3- Collective or Solidarity Rights These include rights to peace, development, and aclean environment , they are often addressed level raather than for individuals. 4- Environmental Rights These ensure the right to asafe, healthy,and sustainable environmental challenges like climate change These types of human rights are interconnected ,and all contribute to the dignity and well- being of individuals and communities
