It impacts both men and women and is more common at in advanced age. It is classified in to three classes, these are urge, stress and mixed. The study aimed to conduct an epidemiological study of Urinary incontinence among a sample of patients in Baghdad city hospitals involving the number of cases, identifying the types of UI and the association with demographic characteristics of patients. A cross-sectional study was conducted from1^th^ January to4^th^ April 2024 on a convenient sample of 400 patients with UI from multiple hospitals in Baghdad. Iraq All these patients were subjected to a questionnaire format designed for this purpose through a personal interview to collect the data for the study. The study includes seven domains, sociodemographic characteristics, type of UI, epidemiological characteristics, clinical features, comorbidities diseases, sex-related factors with behavioral characteristics, and anthropometric measures including weight kg and height cm and body mass index kg/m2 Results of the study show that the high percentage of cases was 25.8% belonging to the age group 60-69 years, regarding sex and habitant, it found that 67.2 % of the patients were females and 88.2% of the patients were from urban regions. the highest percentage 74.2% patients were married. Besides 90.3% of participants were unskilled. Concerning the type of UI revealed 43.0, 31.3, and 25.7% urge, mixed stress respectively. A highly significant association (P\
