It puts the effect on Urbanization, Technological advancements, Agriculture growth, Globalization and Pollution Enhancement. Types of Effects 1. Urbanization: Unsanitary living conditions in many cities, contributing to the spread of diseases. Overcrowded Living Conditions Poor Working Conditions Environmental Degradation Health Challenges Social Dislocation 2. Pollution Air Pollution Water Pollution Soil Pollution Noise pollution E-waste 3. Deforestation Cutting of trees Loss of Biodiversity Sterility of soils Loss of Water holding capacity Irregularity of Nitrogen/Phosphorus cycles Soil Erosion Loss of Microorganisms Habitat Increase soil porosity 4. Resource Depletion Depletion of natural resources Minerals Forests, and water Soil Air 4. Health Challenges Spread of diseases in crowded urban areas. Viral Diseases- HIV Bacterial Diseases-Cholera Fungal Diseases Communicable and Non Communicable Disease 2. POPULATION GROWTH 1. Population means number of people living in a particular area and able to breed with each other. 2. With increase in population, number of natural resources are exploiting day by day. 3. Exploited resources are water, land, fossil fuels, forest and Mineral resources. FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR POPULATION GROWTH: 1. Natality: Birth rate 2. Mortality: Death rate 3. Immigration: Migrating inside an area 4. Emigration: Migrating out from an area POPULATION GROWTH AND ITS PHASES: 1. Lag phase 2. Log phase/Exponential Phase 3. Stationary phase 4. Decline phase or Death phase PHASES PROCESS: 1. Lag phase: Number of sources/nutrients are present to enhance the growth and development of population. 2. Log phase/Exponential Phase: Due to the consumption of nutrients/sources, the number of population will be doubled as per the carrying capacity(k) of an area. 3. Stationary phase: Natality=Mortality 4. Decline phase or Death phase : Mortality >Natality Thank You….
