TPS Integration and Basic Concepts 29 February 2024 12:02 The ESVT is configured as an Application Module in the Network Configuration File, or more commonly called, the NCF. Therefore, it will count as one of the 64 nodes on the LCN. At runtime, it will be loaded with the Application Processing Platform (APP) personality. There will be additional software, known as external load modules, which will also be loaded to provide more functionality to the LCN side Of the ESVT. Although each ESVT is configured as an Application Module in the NCF, the external load modules make it an ESVT. In fact, it shows up as an ESVT on the Application Module node status display in the Native Window. The EST is configured as a Universal Station in the NCF. It will be loaded with the Global User Station, Gus, personality. It will also be loaded with external load modules that provide more functionality to the LCN side of the node, and make it an ES-T. In fact, it shows up as an ES-T on the Console Status display in the Native Window. Each ES—T will also count as one of the 64 nodes on the LCN. EPKS L1 P2 Page 1
