State Texas The Board of Pharmacy The Texas State Board of Pharmacy is made up of 11 members: 7 pharmacists 1 pharmacy technician 3 public members Who are the Board Members? Pharmacist members serving on the board must represent Class A or Class C pharmacies, be a resident of Texas, have been licensed in Texas for at least 5 years prior to appointment and in good standing with the board, and are actively practicing pharmacy. Pharmacist members and their spouses are prohibited from lobbying on behalf of any profession regulated by the board and must not be employed or paid as a consultant for any healthcare association in Texas.
