GROUP 9 FUN FACT: The nervous system is the primary control system of our body as it is involved in every function, from breathing, generating and receiving responses, in controlling the muscles and sensing heat, cold and a lot more FUN FACT: In our central nervous system, there are more than millions of nerve cells, 100 billion neurons in the human brain and about 13,500,000 neurons in the spinal cord. FUN FACT: The human brain weighs around 3 pounds, which is about 2% of a person's body weight. FUN FACT: The human brain has more nerve cells than there are stars in the Milky Way. If all the neurons in the body were lined up, they would stretch for about 599 miles.
