Robotics MindValley Internal 3 Sensors Feeling the world Internal Table of contents Temperature sensor Light sensor Internal Let’s revise what we learned! Internal Introduction Internal Introduction What is the first thing hit your mind when you hear the word `Sensor`? Internal Introduction Most of us have heard before a lot of sensor names but the common between all of them sensors is the usage Internal Introduction Internal Introduction Let’s explain the translation part For example let’s take a temperature sensor From its name it senses temperature then tells the arduino the actual temperature Internal LM35 There are many temperature sensors We will use the LM35 Internal LM35 As any electronic component It has 2 pins for power Positive goes in VIN And negative goes in GND The value the sensor read goes in Vout Internal LM35 But there is a new thing we will explore today also with that sensor as it output the temperature As voltage Which make it have continuous values Internal Analog vs digital But what does continuous mean? Internal Digital & Analog Internal Digital & Analog Digital Analog Microcontrollers are digital Analog signals are anything that devices – ON or OFF. Also called can be a full range of values. – discrete. Internal Digital : Is a circuit designed to receive a binary signal transmitted from an industrial sensor and translate that input into a reliable logic signal for a programmable logic controller (PLC) or industrial controller. Analog : Analog input converts a voltage level into a digital value that can be stored and processed in a computer. Internal Arduino reading As the sensor outputs the data, the arduino reads them as input Internal Wiring the sensor Internal Wiring the sensor Internal If-else Do you remember what conditions are? Or how we used them in the last session ? Internal If-else Internal Code Internal Tinkercad Internal Light sensors Let’s explore other kind of sensors called Light Sensor Internal Light sensors The light sensor is simply a sensors depends on the light But how? Internal Light sensors If there is no light, then the sensor will has a very high resistance value And if there is light, the resistance decreases Internal Light sensors Internal Light sensors Internal Light sensors Internal Project Internal Light and temperature sensors Make a smart bulb that turns on when the temperature is high or when there is no light Internal SHARING Internal TASK Internal - Explore another sensor in tinkercad and search about how to connect it - Search and think about the uses of motors and where do we see them Internal Thanks CREDITS: This presentation template was created by Slidesgo, including icons by Flaticon, infographics & images by Freepik.
