Keep welding shop clean dry and well ventilated.  Always isolate the machine when not in use.  Never weld closed container that leads to explosion. Operate arc welding machine and equipment only in  Clean and dry place. Always shield the working area by painting (black/green).  To protect other people from the radiation of arc.  Make sure the arc welding machine is properly graded.  Always maintain adequate fire fighting tools & equipment GAS WELDING  Always wear goggles with filter glasses during welding Wear fire resistant clothes, asbestos gloves and an apron while welding.  Never wear nylon or greasy clothes while welding  While leaving the work area, make sure that place is free from any form of fire.  Fire Do not roll gas cylinders for shifting. Always use a trolley in carry cylinders.  Do not drop the gas cylinders.  Close the cylinder valves when not in use or empty.  Keep the empty cylinders and full cylinders separately.  Always open the cylinder valves slowly not more Than one and half turns.  Use always the correct size cylinder keys  Stand aside when opening the cylinder  Do not remove the cylinder key from the cylinders during well help to close the cylinder quickly in case of emergency.  Always keep the cylinder in up right position and keeping to view safety and in case handling.
