And we're not going to be able to build a wall around that." KOFI ANNAN (former UN Secretary General) says.. "It has been said that arguing against globalization is like arguing against the laws of gravity." NESTOR KIRCHNER (Former President of Argentina) says.. "We must create a kind of globalization that works for everyone.. and not just for few. WHY KFC LOOKS TO CONQUER AFRICA? (Newser) KFC like McDonald's and other fast food giants wants to take over Africa. KFC parent company YUM BRANDS has been countering the slowdown in American spending with expansion overseas. Having populated China with KFC Outlets, Yum now plans to double the number of stores in Africa to 1200, The Wall Street Journal reports KFC has had an outlet in South Africa since 1971. YUM plans to open them and sister restaurants in Nigeria, Namlbia, Mozambique, Ghana, Zambia.. The expansion will be supported by a growing African middle class more than 40% of Africans now live in urban areas, the YUM's CEO said. THE FIVE CRE CLAIMS OF MARKET GLOBALISM 1.
