Religion reviewer Our fathers - are gifts from God Erick Erickson - The psychologist, in his hierarchy of values, places trust versus mistrust as the basic of all the values in human growth. Saint Matthew - points to us that if God has given us life, then, we can surely trust Him to give us the necessary things to support and sustain life like food, clothing, shelter, medicine. We believe that God is our loving Father. Being our Father, God loves us unconditionally and takes care of us by providing us with everything that we need. We believe that God is a merciful and forgiving Father. God reveals His fatherly goodness not only by taking care of our needs, and not only by adopting us as His children, but most especially by showing us His infinite mercy in freely forgiving us our sins We believe that God the Father is Almighty. The Sacred Scriptures repeatedly reveal God's omnipotence or his being all-powerful, Nothing is impossible with God. God, our loving Father, calls us to love one another Our merciful Father is calling us to be forgiving of others. The first commandment, "I am the Lord, your God. You shall not have other gods besides me," gives us an example of believing in God as our Father, and behaving accordingly. God the Father Almighty is central to our christian prayer, We worship him, we give him thanks, and we praise him as we sing joyfully the Gloria Abba - Father Abraham - The father of a hebrew race All powerful - God the father is omnipotent Joseph - Legal father of Jesus Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob - The three patriachs of the hebrew race Abraham name meaning - Father of a nation King David - Jesse was the father of an israelite king All knowing - God our father is omniscient which means all knowing Adam - Father human race God the father - Jesus real father Zecharia - John the baptist was a great prophet Father Bro.
