HISTORY It is a systematic account of a set of natural phenomena which are arranged in their chronological order (Aristotle, Father of Logic). HISTORY It is a learning inquiry about the past of mankind. Ruy Lopez de Villalobos used the name LAS ISLAS FILIPINAS (The Philippine Islands) in honour of the Prince of Spain during his expedition in the Philippines. Despite the presence of other names, The name PHILIPPINES was eventually adopted as the name of the entire archipelago. 1.
