INFORMATION FOR PATIENT: This is for your son, Mark who is 17 years old. He is a keen rugby player. After the game last night, he started complaining of aching at the back of his right leg. He is able to walk, but stretching the leg causes a bit of tightness and pain. There is no swelling or bruising. You place ice on the leg last night and it helped him a bit (you think). The pain hasn’t worsened. He is back at school today. You gave him 1 tablet of Panadol this morning and Mark told you that it was not working very well. You wanted to get a stronger pain killer for your son. He is not on any medication. He has no known allergies. Page 4 of 4
