Empowerment is the process of enhancing a person\'s abilities to the point that they feel capable of thinking, acting, and making decisions on their own. It gives one the self-assurance to get over outside obstacles in order to change conventional wisdom and obtain resources. among the key figures who contributed significantly to India\'s independence were Gandhiji, Nehru, and Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel. One such leader during the liberation and movement movement was Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, who advocated for social change and transformation and emphasised the need to combat societal problems. not only backed the underprivileged segment of society but consistently advocated for women\'s advancement. He opposed the Purdah and Sati Pratha systems and supported women\'s education.Gandhi\'s views on widow remarriage and women\'s involvement in the independence struggles were also supported by him. Additionally, he urged Maniben, his daughter, to join the independence cause.in the famous Dandi march that Gandhiji started in 1930. Throughout his journey, Sardar Patel inspired women to join the Dandi march with his ferocious remarks. Sardar Patel consistently advocates for women\'s political engagement. Sardar Patel objected to the Ahmedabad district Municipal Act sec. (15)1\'s ban on women running for office on February 13, 1913, claiming that denying them the opportunity to run for office was the same as denying half of the population representation.Sec(15)1 was eliminated in 1926. During the Bardoli Satyagrah, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel inspired women to join the satyagrah by imagining a new, independent India. He also talked with the women in developing plans for the satyagrah, which demonstrates his belief in equality and respect for women\'s opinions. Sardar Patel supports the Hindu Code Bill, which demonstrates his concern in women\'s rights and empowerment. As we all know, the bill promotes gender equality and women\'s empowerment.As the 150th anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel draws near, his ideas on women\'s empowerment and gender justice are still as pertinent now as they were when the country gained its freedom. This seminar intends to understand and appreciate the relevance of sardar patel's thoughts and idea in the contemporary social-political thinking. This is necessary in the sesquicentennial year birth when satyagraha has become a chosen tool of movement against oppression, gender justice. What is the relevance of sardar patel ideas, how do they correspond to contemporary challenges and women empowerment. The broader aim is to engage in the debate on the relevance of patel's thoughts and action as significant and urgent for addressing contemporary religious,economic, environmental, social, and moral challenges The concept of women empowerment is still a topic of debate and discussion across various disciplines including philosophy, law, sociology, political science, social work, and other subjects. This seminar proposes to explore women empowerment from sardar patel's vision and analyzing its different meanings and implications in diverse contexts. The seminar will consist of a series of lectures and discussions by experts from different fields including law, social work, sociology, education ,economics , political science, etc. The first part of the seminar will focus on the theoretical and philosophical perspectives of women empowerment and from the lens of sardar patel.. The second part of the seminar will focus on the practical implication of gender justice in society, it\'s examining how women empowerment is manifested in different areas such as social welfare, social security, the education, politics, employment, decision making , etc. The seminar will provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and the exchange of ideas about gender justice and women empowerment. The participants will gain a better understanding of the complex and multifaceted nature of Women empowerment and its significance in society. The seminar will be for interested students, research scholars, teachers, and practitioners who are interested in exploring women empowerment from a multidisciplinary perspective. It will provide inside into the ways in which different dimensions of \" women empowerment \" interact with each other in the context of contemporary society. **Objectives**: The primary objectives of this seminar are as fellows; 1\. To provide a platform for participants to share their views, insights, and knowledge about the sardar patel′s vision of gender justice and women empowerment. 2\. To explores historical development and contemporary relevance of women empowerment. 3\. To discuss the efforts and role of Governments, voluntary efforts and as a individuals in promoting and maintaining gender justice and women empowerment. 5\. To encourage critical thinking and debate among participants about the challenges and opportunities for achieving gender justice and women empowerment in our society. **Plan**: The seminar will be held over two days, with each day consisting of three session's inaugural, plenary and a technical session. Next days another two technical session conducting on the availability of papers and last sum up by valedictory session. The inaugural session will include a presentation by a guest speaker and a discussion on the sardar patel′s perspective of women empowerment and explores views by various stakeholders in plenary session about sardar patel′s vision of gender justice and relevancy in contemporary scenario. technical session will include paper presentation on the sub-theme/title of the relevant topic by the academician, research scholars, practitioners and students. The seminar will be open to students, scholars, and practitioners from various fields, including Law, Philosophy, Psychology, Education, Political Science, Social Work and concern discipline. **Expected Outcomes**: The seminar is expected to contribute to the following outcomes: Enhanced understanding of sardar patel′s views towards gender justice and women empowerment. Identification of key challenges and issues related to justice in modern societies, and critical reflections on potential solutions. Networking and collaboration among the students, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society activist interested in the field of gender justice. Understanding of the learner′s about gender discrimination and how to overcome these barriers. It must be included in all course curriculum at school, college and as well as at university level.
