School name: Herat – Primary school Branch: Mathematics Department Date: May/ 27/ 2024 Monthly Activity Report 1. Entrance: I have great pleasure in presenting to you the monthly report for May. The purpose of presenting my report is illustrating activities in our classes during this month. 2. General Situation Evaluation: In general, our activities in the math department were high this month, and the students' mathematical level has improved compared to the previous months, and most of the students have problems with math questions. And also in order to strengthen the students in solving math questions, we have held reinforcement classes after class time. There are three teachers in Mathematics department who teach from 3𝑡ℎ to 6𝑡ℎ grades. 3. Meetings Held: In this month, we had some meetings, and the issues were discussed are: -We had a meeting from the Mr Osman because of problems with books and annual plans. -We had a meeting with the members of the math and computer department, where we discussed the subjects, activities, and implementation of plans. 4. Educational Activities: Promotion of reinforcement courses after class time to strengthen weak and new students in mathematics We tried to work on students to learn better and get familiar with math concepts. Beside the courses and giving worksheets to our students, the last week of May month we reviewed all the lessons to make our students ready for monthly exams. - On Thursdays, the promotion of math club, where we perform different programs with the students of this club every week. 5. Teacher Collaboration: - Also in this month Math and computer teachers had a kind of meeting for using update methods of teaching in our classrooms. -How to help students to be more successful and have good scores in GDS exam we had a meeting from the Mr Osman because of problems with books and annual plans. 6. Problems and Solution Suggestions: -One of our problems in the mathematical department of undergoing material in the mathematical sector 7. Future Planning: The activities that we are going to do in the coming month are as follows: 1- Holding math competitions between the 5th grades. 2- Preparing questions for the second 20% exam. 3- solving questions to prepare for exams. 4- reviewing past lessons. 5- preparing students for math exams  Good Practices: The new activities that we did in April to improve the lesson 1-Teaching the lesson in the form of a game. 2-Doing group and pair work.
