The web uses the internet to transfer information to and from different users. ### The Web Uses Three Fundamental Technologies to Share Information Over the Internet: 1. **HTML** - Hypertext Markup Language 2. **URL** - Uniform Resource Locator 3. **HTTP** - Hypertext Transfer Protocol ## Web Browser Web Browser is a software that allows a user to view and explore information on the web. A document stored on a web server and available on the web is called a web page. Web browsers connect a computer to web pages using a web address or URL.
