## Madan's Film Studio Madan reappeared before Captain a few days later after being able to choose a location for his film studio. **Three Locations Rejected** - **First Location:** Too close to the jungle, Captain was worried that a tiger would become homesick and behave erratically. - **Second Location:** An open ground across the river Sarayu. Too close to the town, Captain was afraid it might attract too many people. - **Third Location:** A wooded area, where the highway passed, was ultimately approved. **Transforming the Land** - After signing the contract, Madan felt excited, like he had won an Oscar. - The land was known as the Ginger Field, named for the ginger that had once been cultivated there. - Madan worked tirelessly to transform it into a film studio. He went to the Market Gate, bought the land and began preparations. - He hired people from a nearby village to remove stones and bumps, smooth out the ground, and sweep. **The Value of Jaggu** - Jaggu, a man of great strength, was an excellent source of help. - Captain suggested that Jaggu would be a good candidate for his circus, noting that his strength would be invaluable. - "You are truly great to be able to transform Ginger Field into a film studio." said Captain in praise of Madan's hard work. **Captain's Suggestions** - Captain gave Madan a few suggestions for the location. He insisted that the tiger enclosure should be placed in a spot that the evening sun would never hit as it was not good for the tiger. - He reminded Madan, "Give me twenty-four hours' notice, and I'll have him ready for your call." - He remarked in appreciation, "Your Jaggu is really a find. What a mountain of a man. You are lucky. I could have used him in my circus too, for lifting and moving, which goes on all the time with twenty hands at the job." - He extended his thanks for Jaggu's service, "After you've finished with him, will you please let me try him?" - "Of course, if you like." Madan replied. “After all the possible retakes, when the negatives are cut, I'll set him free and you may have him. Perhaps if you include an all‐in wrestling show, he'll excel in that.” - Captain added, "Oh, that may not fit into my general programming, but I'll take him on and see what I can do." **Unexpected Trouble** - Madan explained to Captain how he found Jaggu at a village market fair. They were on their way to Madras when the vehicle broke down due to a punctured tire and a leaking radiator. - They had to stop at a local mechanic’s shop, the nearest place being a mile away.
